Girl Friday

While Mr. Bond's various lady friends dominated the screen with their vivacious sex appeal, I always wondered what kind of tantalizing looks I could create for his lovely, yet understated assistant, Miss Moneypenny. Not satisfied with the idea of suits being boring, or dreadfully masculine as the 1980's introduced to the boardroom, I began to cultivate the idea of a vintage inspired suit with a twist of bombshell glamour. In a world where many gravitate towards the understated, I tend to prefer the unexpected. There is no need for a plunging neckline when you can forgetfully neglect a top button. The peplum, one of fashion's most effective secret weapons, is ideal for accentuating curves, especially when paired with a pencil skirt and sky high heels. In addition to the contrast cuffs and collar, the "Girl Friday" top features two charming bows for some extra flavor which coordinate beautifully with the lively print. So, when some dashing young man saddles up to you and compliments your amazing wardrobe, just give him a wink and quote dear Miss Moneypenny, "Flattery will get you nowhere - but don't stop trying".
